QUALITY POLICY

Open Joint-Stock Company “Naftan” is a large petrochemical complex that produces various fuels, lubricating oils and bitumens, aromatic hydrocarbons and other refined products. We provide high quality products to maximize satisfaction of parties concerned in order to ensure sustainable profits.

TO IMPLEMENT THE POLICY, THE COMPANY MAKES THE FOLLOWING COMMITMENTS:
  • To produce high quality competitive products that meet the requirements of domestic and international standards, meet the requirements and expectations of consumers, applicable requirements of other parties concerned.
  • To expand export opportunities and master new promising areas of activity, attract new customers, strengthen the reputation of a reliable supplier of high-quality products.
  • To ensure a sustainable financial and economic position of the Company through the rational use of resources, reduction of production costs, and expansion of sales markets.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMMITMENTS IS CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE FOLLOWING:
  • Management leadership, teamwork, focus on the overall result, responsiveness at any level, willingness to analyze and change.
  • Full compliance of the current quality management system with the requirements of STB ISO 9001 and increasing its effectiveness, continuous improvement, including the application of the process approach and risk-based thinking.
  • Сarrying out works on retrofitting and upgrading the Company, modernization of existing and introduction of new most effective technological processes aimed at improvement of quality and competitiveness of products, expansion of product slate and profit making.
  • Maintaining the necessary competence of employees at all levels, providing information and motivation, maintaining an environment that is a combination of social, physical and psychological factors, involving personnel in the processes of implementing improvements, reducing costs and improving production efficiency.
  • Unconditional compliance with legislative, regulatory and other requirements applicable to the Company's activities, as well as the requirements of consumers and applicable requirements of other parties concerned.
  • Building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers of goods, works and services aimed at ensuring and improving the quality of supply.

The management of OJSC Naftan bears responsibility for the implementation of the quality policy and undertakes to allocate the necessary resources to fulfill the commitments made.
